Ever since I was a little kid, I have dreamt about flying an airplane and getting a pilot’s license.
Well, that dream is a little closer to reality today:
Here are some beautiful pictures I took during my recent visit to Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. If you want to see more pics, check out my Flickr set which has almost 200 pictures taken during this visit. Here is the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hkotadia/sets/72157634534748311/
Awesome double rainbow over Hudson river and lower Manhattan, New York city. I recorded this on May 21st, 2005 from my apartment in Jersey city, New Jersey.
I am very lucky to be living in a community that put up a fantastic show of holiday lights for Christmas and New Year from November 2012 till January 2013.
Wanted to share some of the pictures of these lights as seen from my living room and in my ‘back yard’ park.
Hope you enjoy these pictures and let me know what you think:
I visited Kansas city, Missouri several times last year and stayed at a hotel just across from Union Station in Kansas city. Highlight of the trip was seeing trains come and go at Union Station from my hotel room balcony. It brought back childhood memories of train travel or going to railway station! I surely miss those days!!
Some of the photos taken during this trip are embedded below. Hope you enjoy them and let me know what you think:
Here are some pictures from my extended trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania earlier this year. It is a great city full of historic sites on almost every city block in down-town.
I stayed at a hotel just opposite Logan Square and had some fantastic views of down town monuments and sky scrapers from my hotel room. Hope you enjoy these pictures:
All of us have favorite spots where we can relax and may be read a book, magazine, news paper or may be watch Netflix or Hulu Plus on iPad. This is my favorite bench in a park near where I live.
And picture below that is of my favorite park bench in New York state when I use to live in New York/New Jersey tri-state area few years back.
Some times when work gets hectic and life pulls me down, I am reminded of a song by country music star Blake Shelton titled “Some Beach” (if you are not familiar with that song, here’s a link to official video of this song).
During such occasions, I conjure up following images in my mind of photos I had taken in and around West Palm Beach, Florida during my stay there.
